BOCA RATON – For the past six months, the corner of Spanish River Boulevard and Military Trail has been buzzing with construction activity. Kolter, a West Palm Beach based developer, has been constructing Phase I of Moderne Boca, a luxury mid-town home community with a contemporary twist. For Boca Raton, the architecture is refreshing, and the style has caught the attention of homeowners seeking a modern alternative.

With 30 of the 75 planned residences just weeks away from completion, Kolter was overwhelmed by the market response to the residential offering. More than 2,000 potential homeowners inquired about release of the Phase I residences, priced from the $600s, and the Sales Office hadn’t even opened yet. It was clear, a group sales presentation would be required to fairly release the residences for sale.

As the newest member of the neighborhood, Kolter reserved the Wold Performing Arts Center at Lynn University, conveniently located directly across the street from Moderne Boca, to host the Advance Preview event. Tuesday evening, more than 100 guests attended the event to hear the informative presentation by members of the Kolter development team and preview the available residences in the Phase I release.

“Moderne Boca obviously struck a chord with homebuyers in South Florida,” says Bob Vail, President of Kolter Urban. “Boca Raton is well known for its incredible lifestyle, but there has been very little contemporary designed development in the area. Mizner was an innovator himself, and he would be leading the architectural evolution if he were still around.”

During the 2-hour event, attendees were fully educated on the plans for Moderne Boca including the timeline for development and construction. The designer decorated models are anticipated to open in the coming weeks, and Phase I construction will be completed by the end of August. Phase II representing the remaining 45 residences will be released this fall with construction scheduled to be completed by the end of 2017.

Three spacious floorplans are available in the multi-level designs, and many of the residences include private interior elevators. Tall rectangular expanses of glass at the building corners create an interesting architectural feature that serve a practical purpose. The residences are flooded with an abundance of natural light. Elegant porcelain tile on the buildings’ exteriors provides an impressive level of finish detail. The community features an automated entry gate, private swimming pool and fitness center, pristine wooded preserve views and an appealing maintenance-free lifestyle.

Kolter Urban is currently developing seven other luxury communities throughout Florida. Two tower projects in the Palm Beaches – Water Club North Palm Beach and 5000 North Ocean on Singer Island/Riviera Beach. A luxury rental, The Alexander, in downtown West Palm Beach. In Sarasota, VUE Sarasota Bay, The Mark and The Grande – Ritz-Carlton Residences. In St. Petersburg, ONE St. Petersburg. More information on these properties are available at KolterUrban.com.
